rita yirui wang is a multidisciplinary visual artist and maker. She holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. She is based in New York, with deep roots in China.

She is driven by curiosity and a deep belief that genuine connections shape every path. Her practice spans drawing, painting, artist books, graphic design, photography, and prints, with a focus on materiality and as it infuses the work interaction. rita regards the creative process as a hesitant yet gentle embrace, centering her work around evoking questions and visualizing tenderness. She values fleeting moments and traces back to intimate hours.
