rita yirui wang is a multidisciplinary visual artist. She holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. She is based in New York, with deep roots in China. Her practice spans drawing, painting, artist books, design, and photography, with a focus on materiality as it infuses the work interaction. She is driven by curiosity and a deep belief that genuine connections shape every path.

rita regards the creative process as a hesitant yet gentle embrace, centering her work around evoking questions and visualizing tenderness. She values fleeting moments and traces back to intimate hours.
